Hi, Iā€™m Paula!

Taking the step to seek support might seem challenging, but it's a courageous move towards healing and self-exploration on your journey. I am dedicated to establishing a secure, non-judgemental, and collaborative environment where we can work together to enhance well-being. My goal is to assist you in achieving your desired therapeutic outcomes, overcoming challenges, and leading a more fulfilling life.

My profound commitment lies in offering therapeutic interventions that facilitate self-exploration, drawing from a diverse range of evidence-based modalities including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotion Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Guided by a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, my objective is to cultivate a deep understanding of psychological, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

I immigrated to Canada in 2015 from Brazil where I worked as a Clinical Psychologist (as designated in Brazil) and built over 15 years of psychotherapy experience. I am passionate about fostering mental well-being in individuals and their families, guiding them through various life-changing events and mental health issues. I am fluent in both Portuguese and English.

In my leisure time, I find joy in fishing, exploring nature, travelling, cooking, attending the theater, and watching sports.
