"VULNERABILITY IS NOT WINNING OR LOSING; IT'S HAVING THE COURAGE TO SHOW UP AND BE SEEN WHEN WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE OUTCOME. VULNERABILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS; IT'S OUR GREATEST MEASURE OF COURAGE." - BRENE BROWN

TAYLOR GEIM, RP

Hi, I’m Taylor!

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with a Masters in Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University). I have experience working in addictions, post-secondary student wellness, private practice, and social service settings, specifically, with adolescents (13-17) and adults (18+).

I am passionate about delivering therapeutic interventions to allow for exploration of self to help gain greater understanding of one’s psychological,  social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Seeking support can be challenging; though, a courageous step on your journey to healing. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative space, where we can work together to enhance well-being. My goal is to work with you to achieve goals, resolve challenges, and live a healthier life.

I take a client-centred and trauma-informed approach in session. To support my practice, I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. In our work together, we will collaboratively create a treatment plan that suits you and your therapeutic journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, painting, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
