PAIGE OBERFELDS, MSW, RSW

Hi, I’m Paige!

Hi, I’m Paige. Thanks for being here!

Finding a therapist who truly understands and supports you is crucial in your journey toward healing. My approach is deeply rooted in de-stigmatizing mental health, grounded in feminism, and actively calling out the systemic structures that contribute to our collective unwellness. I believe in exploring life with compassion, creativity, and curiosity, and I strive to foster relationships built on authenticity, safety, and collaboration. You are the expert in your own journey, inherently equipped for healing and connection. My goal is to help you uncover and embrace your innate wellness, allowing you to show up as your true self.

I am a Registered Social Worker based in Ontario, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Family Relations and Human Development from the University of Guelph and a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University.

As a therapist, I practice from a trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and anti-oppressive framework. My work is heavily influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with regular integration of other modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy. I value the mind-body connection and often employ somatic-focused approaches in my sessions. I work with individuals (16+) facing a variety of mental health challenges, feeling stuck, or wanting to explore their authentic selves with compassion, curiosity, and safety. My experience includes working with trauma, relationship dynamics, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am committed to walking alongside you, offering support as you build the confidence and skills to navigate life’s ebbs and flows.

As a person, I find joy in nature with my rescue pups, savoring new coffee shops, and challenging myself with weightlifting at the gym. I am passionate about our connection to the planet and continuously add new countries to my travel bucket list.
